Focus on play

Focus on play are short briefings aimed at a specific group or sector of the children’s workforce.

Each issue also provides useful information about the importance of children’s play and how we can all support children’s need for time, space and permission to play in their communities.

Public health professionals

Children and young people need and are entitled to quality places and time for play as part of their everyday life within their own community.

It features information about:
