Youth Parliament for Wales consultation launched28-04-2017Back to News
National Assembly for Wales has launched a new Welsh Youth Parliament consulation. The consultation asks young people about a name for the youth parliament, its aim, membership, role and values.
A youth parliament is a key part of the Assembly Commission’s commitment to give children and young people a voice at a national level. It was voted for by all political parties represented at the Assembly.
Have your say by completing the online survey.
There are also many other ways to get involved, such as:
- The Assembly Commission Education and Youth Engagement Team are available to attend schools and youth organisations across Wales to deliver a 60 minute workshop to gather the views and opinions of young people and professionals
- Attend one of the organised events (13 May to 10 June across Wales)
- Help promote the consultation through your newsletters and social media channels - #YouthPariament
Consultation closing date: 30 June 2017
