Professionals Breaking the Silence project
NSPCC’s new Professionals Breaking the Silence project aims to develop a practical resource that will support professionals working with children to confidently deal with disclosures of abuse and to improve children’s experiences of the disclosure process.
This is in response to NSPCC research which found that too often children’s disclosures go unheard and unnoticed.
To inform the development of the resource NSPCC is gathering the views of individuals who work directly or indirectly with children and young people about their experiences of dealing with disclosures. This includes education professionals, playworkers and youth workers and health professionals.
To share your views and experiences please complete NSPCC’s online survey – all submissions are anonymous.
Deadline for completing the survey: 25 March 2018.
