Call for migrant children's play experiences

A postgraduate student from the Education department at the University of Greenwich is seeking participants to interview for a doctoral oral history project relating to migrant children’s play in the UK. The project is looking for:

  • Individuals who migrated to the UK between 1945 and 2000 and were under the age of 18 at the time of migration.
  • Individuals or organisations involved in play groups for migrant children that meet the description above.

The interviews will be analysed to learn how the migration experience impacted play patterns. Participants will be asked to complete a recorded interview lasting one to two hours on the play experiences of former migrant children or play facilitators.

For more information please contact Emily Barker.

The deadline to participate is December 2018.
