Who made P3?
Playwork: Principles into Practice (P3) has been developed by Play Wales and the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) and has been funded by the Welsh Government.
The original level 2 Playwork: Principles into Practice (P3) courses were devised and written by a group of experienced playworkers, playwork managers, trainers and educators including: Dynamix, Jacky Kilvington, Jess Milne, Di Murray, Ali Wood and members of the Play Wales team – Marianne Mannello, Tillie Mobbs, Richard Trew and the late Gill Evans.
We also had technical advice from Professor Fraser Brown, head of the Playwork Team at Leeds Metropolitan University.
The course materials were edited by Gill Evans and proofread by Angharad Wyn Jones who also managed the production of the Welsh language materials.
Our cartoons were devised by members of the Play Wales team and drawn by Les Evans.
More recently we have produced the Level 3 P3 learning materials.
These have been written by Di Murray, Tanny Stobart, Penny Wilson, Ali Wood, and members of the Play Wales team –, Marianne Mannello, Tillie Mobbs, and Richard Trew. The materials were edited by Marianne Mannello and Tillie Mobbs and proofread by Angharad Wyn Jones. Like the level 2 we also received invaluable technical advice from Professor Fraser Brown.
